In our choice at Ingatestone Garden Centre we have included trees introduced from many different parts of the world. We have chosen those varieties of particular beauty and suitability for garden planting. We also stock some native species which are particularly ‘at home’ in natural and rural
settings.
Our trees are container grown and can therefore be planted at any time (ground and weather conditions permitting).
In addition we stock new introductions many being particularly suitable for the smaller garden. Our range of hedging includes evergreen and deciduous types. Many are container grown for year round planting or autumn lifted for autumn and winter planting.
We stock the following aids to ensure you achieve the very best from our trees and hedging:
- Soil improvers and fertilisers
- Sprays and weed killers
- Stakes, trunk protectors and ties
- Secateurs and pruners
- Information leaflets and books
In addition we have our own expert plantsmen on site to give you any hints and advice you may need.
Many of the varieties we sell can be seen growing to maturity in our extensive show gardens. Together with the help of our descriptive bed cards and labels your correct choice should be made easy.
If you require a plant that we normally stock, but it is temporarily unavailable you can leave your plant request together with your contact details. We will then contact you when the plant is available.
