Display Gardens

Visitors have no way of knowing that behind a modest entrance are eight superbly well planned and well stocked acres. This family business was established over 50 years ago. Today this is one of the largest independently owned Garden Centres in the area: thoughtfully managed by Graham Rogers and his Co-Director, Geoffrey Green – a man who knows all there is to know about plants.

Walk around our beautiful gardens. Mature trees and shrubs, interspersed among new plantings designed by Geoff Green. Seasonal plants, bulbs, blossom and catkins in the Spring, flowering shrubs and perennials throughout the Summer. Colourful foliage in the Autumn followed by even more colour in the Winter from stems and evergreen shrubs.

In the stream and the ponds see the Koi and Goldfish, frogs and toads and the many aquatic plants. Maybe catch a glimpse of the visiting Heron and other water fowl that live around our aquatic features.

Walk through the woods or just sit and watch the birds, doves, cockatiels, parrots and cockerels amid the beautiful surroundings, with a cup of tea and a slice of cake from our coffee shop. While wandering around the gardens you may see just the right plant for that particular spot in your garden. Ask our plant expert Geoff Green, he can help you with your choice and advice on its care.
