A little about us

Established in 1938, Ingatestone Garden Centre has matured through the seasons into one of the most popular destination garden centres around. Renowned for the superb quality of our plants, our beautiful mature gardens, and the expert knowledge from our friendly staff (some of whom have been with us for several decades), we strive daily to maintain the quality of service that we’re known for. Our resident expert plantsman Mr Geoff Green has used his skill and eye to create one of the most beautiful gardens around, that has evolved and grown over the years as the garden centre has alongside it. Please feel free to come and take a stroll around them or through our woodland walk, meet the tropical birds in our aviary, and admire the Koi Carp in our ponds – and if your feet get too tired you can always take a seat in our fully-licenced family restaurant. Whether you’re after quality plants or quality advice, our wide range of gardening and gift products, or just to come and indulge in some home-made food or afternoon tea whilst enjoying the established gardens, we hope to see you soon.
